Well, it is that time in March where there is a flurry of activity with numbers bantered around like basketballs on a court. What will the percentage be? What is the final score? Are we talking NCAA? Nope. We are talking about our own version of March Madness here in the Nelson house! For us, March Madness is when we see how close we are to our March goal of 60% funded. We are right now just 7% short of that goal as we go into the final stretch. All of our partnerships are vital for us to reach the 100% needed to go to Honduras.
Just these last two weeks I have been contacted by 3 different teams wanting to know when I would be able to come down to Honduras so that I can help them provide anesthesia for vital surgeries being offered to the people of Honduras. Until we reach our goal, I am heartbroken to have to tell these doctors not yet. Ken too, feels the urgency to get to Honduras so that he can minister to these young pastors and Bible Institute students, and to make vital connections between Honduran and US churches so that they can work together to reach the lost.
